First lets start out with the country. As you can see below Manuel Antonio is located on the Central Pacific coast of Costa Rica.The main airport in Costa Rica, where all the international flights arrive, is in Alajuela, next to the capital, San Jose (San Jose is in the exact middle of the map). Getting to Manuel Antonio from Alajuela is quite easy. You can either hop on a local flight to Quepos or rent a car and drive down the coast for about 3 1/2 hours to Manuel Antonio.
